Hardly. I routinely run Oracle 8i Enterprise under NT4 on my notebook with 64MB RAM and do so as a backend while doing development in Forms 6i. It is just a question of proper configuration. It certainly is no screamer. And it certainly is not a multiuser environment. But it is a bt much to say that "Oracle laughs." I would expect the Oracle client would run in substantially less space than this.
