In our app's current environment we have clients running on Windows accessing the DBMS on a UNIX server. The clients can trigger stored procedures in the database and these procedures are able to proc UNIX shell scripts to execute out-of-database procedures.

We are putting the app on Oracle and can't see how to do this.

Is this enough or do you want a specific requirement?
