Hello,

I have some questions about veritas quick i/o with Oracle database.

  1. I heard that autoextend in Oracle could cause the datafile corruption if veritas quick I/O is used. Is this still an issue with newest release of Oracle and Veritas database edition?
  2. what type of Oracle datafiles are not good to use quick I/O? (someone said that it is not good to use quick I/O for temporary tablespace), why?

Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
