Basic Replication

Hi,
I would like to get your opinions on the best way to go forward on a replication issue that we have.

We have a basic snapshot going between 2 databases. At the "replicated" site ie. the slave, we would like to add some extra computed fields to the snapshot tables. Now, I would like to know if this is a good idea to add it to the replicated tables?
