We also evaluated Quest SQLabXpert (their tuning tool). It was ok, but what it basically did was apply 4 hints to your statement - if you need a tool to do that, then.... LECCO actually re-writes the SQL to identify all possible execution plans. In many cases, we get over 1000 re-writes of the SQL!
