Oracle Applications Specialist

Our client has an urgent needs for an Oracle Applications Specialist and
works out of their Hamilton data centre. you will be responsible for the
company's business systems applications portfolio. Be responsible for
requirement definitions, system design, set-up, configuration, test,
upgrade, and support of Oracle based applications and works with the users
to define the business process needs. Participate actively in the
development and execution of software release upgrades. The company uses
Oracle Application Suite and you require a sound understanding of it and a
solid understanding of the general architecture of the system. PL-SQL
skills to assist in module testing and information gathering. Understanding
of the Oracle tool kit and data warehouse tools. A strong background in
working with financial applications. The company uses the Covey principles
as their guiding philosophy. B Sc. Computer Science or Mathematics program,
or Diploma in Computer Systems Co-operative development program. Should have
at least 3 years systems analysis experience plus other progressive
programming expereince. You must have excellent communication skills, and be
team oriented.
