I can't say about the NT version but I believe it is like the UNIX
version and unless your database was built with a 2K Oracle block size
then you must provide the blocksize paramerter, i.e., blocksize=4096.
Also if you backup utility compresses the file then you could not run dbverify on it either without hitting errors.
