Hallo,

the Patch available on technet just describes that it allows to install Oracle8.0 under Redhat6.0 using the GNU C-Libraries 2.1 instead of 2.0.7

I dont have Redhat6.0, I have 6.1 !

I downloaded and tried to apply that patch, but that did not work:

I tried to simulate i386-glibc20-linux through a link to /i386-redhat-linux and
I succeeded in executing the glibcpatch.sh

But I still get Segmentation Fault / Coredump
