I haven't done any imports for a while, but one thing I seem to remember is that if you import as system and the tablespace where the table had been located in the database from which the export was perform does not exist in the new database, the tables will be created in the default tablespace for SYSTEM. That is probably not desireable. To get around this in the past I have always used a script to create the tables and then did the import with IGNORE=Y. Received on Thu Jan 20 2000 - 07:54:38 CST
