Van,
it all kinda' depends on what you entered in the options offered by Designer, but it may very well be possible the Designer repository tries to connect to INDI; this is a server-to-server connect... Hence tnsnames on the *server* needs to be adapted to have the INDI entry as well. V1 always used this scenario, V2+ may also use a client connect, when you fill in the user, passwd and connect string. Told u so, it kinda' depends.
