Hi,

Oracle does a checkpoint whenever there is a logswitch ( apart from tablespace beging backup, tablespace offline, checkpoint interval ). This indicates that Ur log switch is so rapid during batch processing. Do the following.

Add more logfile groups each atlest 15MB. your logfile member size is less than 5MB, it happens.
In my experience, this combination was the best :

5 log members with 30MB size.
