Depends on your hardware setup.
Basically, you have two choices with RAID; Software based RAID and Hardware Based RAID.
If your hardware supports hardware based RAID, definitely use it. You will use RAID Manager (/usr/sbin/osa/rm6) to setup your LUNs and RAID levels.
If your hardware does not support hardware based RAID, you will be stuck with software based RAID. Although software RAID works OK, it is definitely as fast as hardware RAID. However, you can find Disk Suite usually in (/usr/opt/SUNWmd/sbin/metatool) and can create software RAID devices from there.
