I have read that in 8.1 you can create user proxies with the alter user
command. It sounds like purpose is to enable the middle tier to act as
if it were a given user when executing DML. Unfortunately.. I'm not
certain this is the case and the doc doesn't provide an adequate
explanation. Can some one help with an explanation or example, as this
sounds very useful for my current project.
