Hello,

I'm trying to install Oracle 8.0.5 Standard for Linux

I'm using Redhat Linux 6.1

When I start the oracle scripts such as oraenv and receive strange errors. Executing the 'if' and 'case' statements manually they work. See output below

Following the installation guide I found difficulties starting the installer.

Can anyone please advise ????
