Re: Alert Log Search Strings

We have a script which goes through the alert logs for multiple instances and aggregates all the errors into a single report. We look for any occurrance of ORA- or OER- but ignore ORA-1109, ORA-279, ORA-308, ORA-283. We also report the high water mark, number of log switches and average/min/max time between them and the number of shutdowns/startups. Hope this gives you some ideas.
