I administer about 20 databases running 7.3.4 and 8.1.5 on Novell, NT and
Solaris. They are not very large. The biggest is 30G. On the whole the
three operating systems seem to perform about equally. That is to say there
are very few problems on any of them. One small plus is that it's generally
easier to move around in Novell and NT than it is in UNIX.
