The installation when compared to Oracle for NT can be classed as a nightmare.
The install requires very specific versions of its dependant products. i..e Java Run-time, GLIBC.

At one point in time I was certain that Red Hat & Oracle announced that they would deliver a RPM install.
I wait in eager anticipation. A RPM would go a long way in helping Oracle being accepted in the Red Hat environ.
