I am to implement Oracle 8i file system based on a raid 5 system under Solaris 7. Due to raid 5 security should be an issue.

I wonder which file system to use.
Sun claims performance advantages using its veritas file system. Does this hold for Oracle in general too?

Are there any advantages using veritas instead of ufs in respect to Oracle?
