Disabling a user account in 7.3.4

hi,


We have an Oracle 7.3.4 box and we would like to disable an account.
We want to preserve the accounts existing previlages and at the same
time disable his access.


Is there a way to lock the account?  We tried revoking his 'create
session'


access, but since it was granted to him, through a role, we were unable
to do it.


Is there another way to do this?
