I've been wondering the same thing myself. I don't know any developers who are using the plsql, perl or java cartridges for Oracle.

Anyone out there using these tools? And it what combination? I've been playing with a javascript / plsql combo. I'm trying to build a shopping cart. Do most developers try to keep their code as platform independant as possible?
