Installation problem with Oracle 8.1.5i on Linux

Hello,

I am currently installing Oracle 8.1.5i on Linux (Mandrake with kernel 2.2.13-7) but the installer fails with the following error:

./runInstaller

Initializing Java Virtual Machine from /usr/local/jre/bin/jre. Please wait... Error in CreateOUIProcess(): -1
: Argument list too long

Any idea about what the problem could be ?
