A few things:
For each of your listeners take a look to see if they are using aliases. If
they are, try entering another line which is identical except use an IP
address instead of an alias.
After the install bounce the OAS server.
After applying the patch, did you copy owsctl_ent.exe over owsctl.exe? You
need to.
Run >dir /s *.prepatch.4071
You should see a list of file names and at the end a "Total Files Listed"
as xxx files if the patch installed OK.
Since your memory is so limited your swap file should be pretty big.
Having said that, you realize that 4.0.7.1 isn't even officially certified with NT4/SP5 (although it works) let alone Windows 2000. Finally, running windows 2000, a database and OAS in 64M may not be possible.
