Reinstall NT? Reinstall Oracle? You don't make a backup of NT and Oracle and
the registry?
Creating a service should last 5 secs only.
I'm not an NT fan, but the steps outlined below are a bit strange.
You don't seem to have a proper backup.
Get Arcserve with the Oracle Agent, and you will be safe!
