How to make archivlog human readable ?

Hello everybody !



We are just hunting some kind of bug in one of our database
applications. And it would be very nice if we could say what happend to
some records at a known time two days ago. So my question is: How can we
get the (binary) archive log into something human readable? Is it
possible to make a query on the log to get all changes between the times
x and y ?
