Re: delete statement performance

We had tables with 30.000.000 rows ( Oracle 7.3.4) several constraints ans fk's but deleteing several rows using the correct index ws under 1 second. t could be that the secondary sql-statemnts fired by triggers and constraints us to much time. One time we deteceted an an invalid constraint which used the amount of time.

A table having only 2.000.000 rows should not be so problematic. But problematic is to use all these constraints and foreign key generated by a modeller and to control them!
