ORA-01102 cannot mount database in EXCLUSIVE mode?

Hi, gurus!


I started Instance Manager, it started in 'no mount' state (usually 'open'
state). When I try to switch to 'open' or 'mount' I get message:
"ORA-01102 cannot mount database in EXCLUSIVE mode".
What can I do? Why could it happen?
