fatal error

Hello,

I have a small problem:

error 204 detected in background process OPIRIP: Uncaught error 447. Error stack:

ORA-00447: fatal error in background process
ORA-00204: error in reading (block 1051687, # blocks 1) of controlfile
ORA-00202: controlfile: '\ORANT\DATABASE\CTL1XXXX.ORA'
ORA-27069: skgfdisp: attempt to do I/O beyond the range of the file
OSD-04026: Invalid parameter passed. (OS 1051687)

Does this meen that my server is ready for a reinstall or is there a way back?
