Oracle7 7.3 and LOB's

I have a colleague who is trying to use BLOBs and CLOBs with Oracle7.  Does
Oracle7 even support these datatypes?  I thought not.  If so, can anyone
point me to an online resource that explains how they are handled cuz I
can't find anything in the documentation.
