Hi,
my problem is that the number of oracle processes allways raise (v$process) ( whithout any connection to DB - number of sessions stays constant -v$sessions). Oracle is on NT machine that is connected to big network. Does anyone have idea what could start these prcesses or how can I find it out . I already tried to dump trace files but I don't understand it. The part of it :

PROCESS 28:

  SO: 7eb9d9c, type: 1, owner: 0, flag: INIT/-/-/0x00   (process) Oracle pid=28, calls cur/top: 0/7f027e4, flag: (0) -
