Forms 4.5 to Forms 6

Hello,

   At now I'm using Forms 4.5.7.0.10.
   What would be the benefit upgrading to Forms 6 ?    What would be the cost ?
   Is my Forms 4.5 application compatible with Forms 6 or should I first upgrade to Forms 5 ?
