Indeed somthing has changed, I had the same problem.

You have two possiblities:

    1.) change in SQLNET.ORA the values

            names.default_domain = world
            name.default_zone = world

    or
    2.) change the beginning of every entry in TNSNAMES.ORA from
            name.WORLD =
            into     name.domain.zone  for example for my company it is name.merck.de
