Oracle NT Client Install error

In trying to install the Oracle client application to an NT 4.0 SP4 Workstation, I get the error: pdfdoc80.map(0) File not found while mapping pdfdoc80.
The install then exits. I am just trying the s/w out now so have no other means to find out why this is happening and how to fix it. I'd appreciate any help.
