TOAD freeware version - problem with explain plan

I have been running the TOAD tool in it's freeware form for some time and had few problems until the last update 02 Sept 1999 version 6.1.9.1-g

This happily performs the explain plan as the working tables are populated with results although the display only contains hierarchical display of the plan elements

e.g.

|--1
|--2
|--3

and that is all.

I have a suspicion that the cost might not be being recorded correctly in the working tables.

Does anyone else use the tool and experienced the same type of problem.
