Oracle v7.2.2 - bug 555856

I've got Oracle v7.2.2 running under HPUX v10.20. It recently core dumped, ora-0600 [4554], and I was told this was a known problem, bug #555856.

Since this version is "unofficially" unsupported, I could not get any specifics on the causes for this abort.

Does anyone have any specifics as to the events leading to this particular core dump of Oracle?

It's happened three times in one week and I would like to know what I could do (system tuning, shutting out users, etc.) to prevent it from happening again.

Thanks In Advance,
Jose
