OAS 4.0.7.1 and Oralce 8.1.5 (on NT4 SP5)

I've installed OAS 4.0.7.x and then applied the subsequent patches moving me to OAS 4.7.1.x. I've installed this on one machine along with Oracle 8i 8.1.5 on the same machine. I have NT 4 SP5 installed and I'm doing a 'multiple home' install.

Great. When I attempt to start the Oracle DB listener, which was working, it breaks. Everything else loads fine including the Node Manager, ORBs, WRBs and the database. However I can no longer connect to the Oracle engine. Pre OAS, everything's fine.

Is OAS 4.0.7.1 certified with Oracle 8.1.5? Am I 'barking' up the wrong tree, trying to use 4.0.7.1 w 8i? Perhaps OAS 4.0.8 is required, instead?

Thanks in advance,
