Hi. Make sure that your display colours on your screen are atleast 256
colours . Also make sure you are on atleast sp4. The java.exe is the
process which sipts out the splash screens during the installation. (
The screwed up part is that it is in no way shape or form connected with
the actual installation process but it can stall the entire
installation).
