50 design2000 on 1 database

Hi,
We are going to use designer2000 in database-education. This will mean that between 40 and 60 designers will woork at the same time on one database.
In the installation manual there are some remarks about values of for instance
the open_cursors parameter.
For 4 des2000 users this must be on 400. The default is 50.
Does this mean that for 50 users i have to set it on 5000? What about the other parameters?
We are using a Hp LH3 NT server with 256 MB memory and five 4GB disks. Thanks
