Hi eric,

Does the node which hosts the Database has Oracle Intelligent Agent running ? If not, OEM will not detect it automatically..You will need to manually Add the host and configure the Database name,port,Protocol etc.

If the Agent is configured correctly ( verify using 'Ping Agent' on the OEM Console) ,then you can Discover Services option to detect the Databases..Then Save U'r Network Configuration ( Update tnsnames.ora option ) to make it visible everytime..
