It may relate to which ODBC driver you're using. Try the latest Microsoft driver "Microsoft ODBC for Oracle" 2.573.3711.00 available from the Microsoft Knowledge Base. I suppose it could also be the user you're logging the driver in with too. I use this driver & it works fine for me!
