My 0.02$:



We successfully migrated one of our databases (75G) with the mig
utility.



We chose not to use import/export because we could not afford much space
and we wanted the database quick.



In short: the bigger is the database, the more probably you'll want to
upgrade it with mig.


Mig works well provided you follow instructions.
