Hi all


I need to install an Oracle 8.0 server on a dedicated computer for
testing. (so there in no critical data on the server and I can
reinstall it as many times as I like if I amke a mistake :-)
I never actually installed a server (it was always done by the system
manager in my previos work place) so I need the basic steps to set up
a server and to connect to it.


I have other servers installed here, so I know my client side is OK. I
only need the instructions about the server side.
