I am not familiar with replication, but are you talking about
replication by sending redolog archives to the other instance or are you
talking about replication by triggers?
If you are replicating by sending redologs I can imagine there are problems as you have to send two redo log threads to the destination instance and that Oracle cannot easily determine the processing order of redolog entries.
