Oracle Vs Conos

Can somebody explain the strength and weaknesses of both. How does Cognos Impromptu/PowerPlay compare with Oracle's Discoverer and Analyser. How do they compare in their user friendliness, analysis and ability to export to other tools such as MS Excel. How does their OLAP tools compare? And finally how open are they with respect to different DBMS and data sources. Can Discoverer and Express
