Oracle componants

I have Oracle 8i enterprise edition, Oracle 4.0.7 Application Server, Oracle Internet Commerce Server 1.1.0.7.5, and Oracle Web DB 2.0.5, all for NT. The commerce server, it seems, won't work with 4.0.7 of the App Server, so it installs 3.? over it. I'm not sure if I'd rather have 4.0.7 of the App Server or the IC Server. Any thoughts? I'm not too familiar with these products... what works well with what?
