Startup Error on Solaris

I am getting the following error when staring up oracle our Solaris
server:



SVRMGR> startup nomount



ORA-27123: Unable to attach to shared memory segment
SVR4 Error: 22: Invalid argument




Anyone have any ideas.  I suppose it is pretty simple, but I am fairly
new to UNIX.



Help would be cool.
