Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Can't connect internal using service name
Hi, I am running 8.05 on Solaris 2.6. I have 2 instances up at the same
time. ORCL is the default instance while ORCL2 is another one that I
create a service(in tnsnames) to connect: connect
system/manager_at_orcl2_service. However, I notice that I am not able to
connect internal in svrmgrl using the service name(I can connect to SYS,
SYSTEM and other users):
SVRMGR> connect internal/oracle_at_orcl2_service ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
I need to 'setenv ORACLE_SID orcl2_service' everytime in order to connect to internal/oracle. Anyone has ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Ed
