Redhat linux 6.0 and oracle 8.0.4

I am wondering if anybody can tell me if oracle 8.0.4 is compatible
with the linux 2.2.5 kernel.  I reinstalled oracle after upgrading to
redhat 6.0 from 5.2 and now I get a "segmentation fault" when I try to
run sever manager.
