SQL*Plus problem

Hy all

I have a problem using the dbsm_putput package in SQL*Plus, if I try to display a line longer than 255 byte I receive the following error:

ORA-20000: ORU-10028: line length overflow, limit of 255 bytes per line
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT", line 99
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT", line 65

Somebody knows which is the SQL*Plus parameter I have to modify to avoid this problem?
I tried with linesize parameter but it still does not work.
