I've never used it either. On Not In List works fine for me. I came up with
this in response to a question posted here (comp.databases.ms-access, for
those following this thread in other newsgroups) from someone who wasn't
satisfied with On Not In List, but wanted to actually disable typing in the
combo box. It could be improved by changing the If ... Then statement to a
Select Case and including tests for F4 and the arrow keys, but as I don't
have any practical use for it, I can't be both... er, I mean I've left that
as an exercise for the student!
And besides, I couldn't resist the one-liner!
