Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> OWAS 3.0.1 SSL Problem
Hi,
Platform: Windows NT 4.0 SP 3
Oracle 7.3 OWAS 3.0.1
I'm trying to set up SSL (for a trial), I obtained a trial certificate from VeriSign and installed in as per the instructions. When I start the listener the following message appears in the log file
29/Oct/1998:15:31:48 +0000 -- Error: Unable to load or decode certificate
file(s).
29/Oct/1998:15:31:48 +0000 -- Information: Listening on SSL port 96 address
0.0.0.0
29/Oct/1998:15:31:48 +0000 -- Information: The server started successfully
and I cannot connect to the listener.
Switch the port back to NORMal and everything is fine and I can connect;
29/Oct/1998:15:56:27 +0000 -- Information: Listening on NORM port 96 address
0.0.0.0
29/Oct/1998:15:56:28 +0000 -- Information: The server started successfully
I've checked all the certificate file and directory names and tried the recommended port (443) but no success.
Anyone seen this before or got any ideas?
